Manfeild Track Day

We recognise that Covid related restrictions may be in place on the day. MSNZ have set guidelines in place for how motorsport events can be run under Covid related restrictions and we will be following these to the letter. They make running the event safe and practical under the conditions. Currently our plans for the day include:
1. All entries will have to be done by email and payment made by internet banking by 24 September at the latest. The entry fee is $80.00 for members of the Constructors Car Club, the MG Classic Racing Register and the MG Car Club, and $90.00 for all other entrants. There will be no entries taken on the day.
2. We will not be running the formal training sessions using coned-off "events" as we have had in previous years. The first session on the track will be a slow speed familiarisation follow-the-leader "tiki-tour" followed by the first group 1 session.
We anticipate we can run the event under level 1 or level 2 restrictions. If by any chance we are under level 3 then we will need to cancel the day and will immediately refund all entry fees paid in advance.
So, we are looking forward to the same excellent day at Manfeild that we have enjoyed in previous years. As you probably already know this is a great no-pressure event for your first go on a real race track. It is also ideal as a shakedown for your race car ahead of the season. There is no problem for any road legal car to be used for this event. Electric cars are particularly welcome. Constructors Car Club members ( and other participants ) may like to use this event to test cars that they have built. Anyone planning to drive a car that has "unusual features" or lacks completeness please contact Ron Robertson (Clerk of the course) well ahead of the day to discuss eligibility and avoid disappointment on the day. We really do our best to make the day work for everyone.
