The Fiberfab Jamaican was designed in the States by Chris Beebe around 1968. Kevin's car was built in 1969 and has the twin nostrils copied by Chris from the Pontiac GTO of the time. It was styled on a Lamborghini Miura (Not that closely) and there were three versions, one for VW chassis, one with its own chassis for V8's and one for Triumph TR, Healey and MGA chassis, with provision for V8's. They used lots of proprietary parts, Porsche 911 Rear Screen, 67 Corvette front screen, Mustang door hinges, Karman Ghia VW side windows.

This car is attached to a Triumph TR4A chassis with some form of competition 2.2 Litre engine. It was running when Kevin Purchased it. Now Kevin has rebuilt the suspension and repaired the rack. The steering column will be changed over from TR4 to a steering column from a Triumph Herald, centralising it in the wider cockpit and allowing the STAG V8 and Manual overdrive to be fitted. The Stag engine is a MK2 model and has a Holley four barrel on top. Performance will be good, its a light car. He has also lowered it and fitted 14 x 8inch Aldics with 225-60x14's. The TR7 seats it came with have been rebuilt and recovered and Kevin intends to fit a front and rear spoiler to it as well as some new "all red" TR4-5 rear lights which are more appropriate than the TR7 ones it came with.
Another advantage Kevin discovered when he got the car was that it came with a complete assembly manual and heaps of brochure details etc.
