The unique thing about this car is it's chassis number which is #RSC00003 as it identifies the car as being the third Radical built.

When Craig first saw the car in 2005 he was already competing on the track in a Caterham 7 which he has owned for some time. While the Caterham is a brilliant car for classic racing or road use, Craig wanted to also try his hand at modern sportscar racing - hence the Radical . The Radical is a car that is definitely designed to compete on the track. It also looked good and had an extensive rebuild in 2004 to bring it up to it's current specifications.

The car is powered by a Kawasaki ZZR 1100 motorcycle engine and uses it's six speed sequential box to get the power down to the wheels through a chain drive to a Quaife limited slip diff. As motorbike engines do not have reverse Radical have designed a way for it to be accomplished using an electric motor. By modifying heads, carbs and timing power has been increased to 185bhp (155bhp at the wheels) which significantly improves performance. 0-100kmh can be achieved in 3.5 seconds with a top speed, depending on gearing of around 240kph.
