For many years John has been considering building cars. It was after a good look into building a ‘seven’ that he decided this would be the way to go. Sevens are light and quick, have racing pedigree, and that timeless design which was so right in 1950. It still remains basically unchanged today. A seven can be built within a reasonable budget so this was the way he turned a hankering into a reality.
After having a good look around race circuits at the range of clubman cars then available he decided on a Fraser and the order was placed. The Fraser was the ideal platform, the kit being supplied with all the components which are unique to the car. Other parts could also be supplied by Fraser if required. Neil Fraser and his crew were very helpful and were eventually responsible for fitting the upholstery, exhaust and complianced the car.
John wanted the car to be well finished and detailed with all the parts being either polished, plated, painted or powder coated. As much care was taken over the parts that are out of sight as with those that are visible.
