Anthony discovered the car amongst some straw in Bulls. The car had been originally built by Gulf Engineering sometime between 1968 and 69. Apparently Gulf only made a total of four or five cars. (See ‘99 Norquay Gulf 7 Profile). Anthony’s car had not been on the road since 1992 but now it has been restored to it‘s former glory. The car has now reached a state where it  is running like a sewing machine. The seats have been removed and remade, as they did not accommodate a person of Anthony’s height.

Powered by a Ford 1600 cross flow motor, twin webbers and a variety of other parts scattered throughout the car such as Herald uprights the car has been painstakingly overhauled and refurbished. Currently weighing in at a lightweight of 540kg it really flies around the track.
