The Car was constructed by Suffolk Sports Cars in the U.K. In the U.K. the car is classified as a ‘Historic Car’. It was constructed in 2001, using some reconditioned components (engine, gearbox, diff, rear axle & brakes) from Jaguar cars from the 1970 era, and some new components such as, the chassis, fibreglass body and aluminium bonnet.
Its mileage is very low as Norman was not very comfortable driving it on U.K. crowded roads. However he did drive it to the South of France one year and to Switzerland another. Apart from that he has been content to potter about early on Sunday mornings, and do less than 1000 miles a year in England.
The car was imported into New Zealand in October 2013. Living in Nelson Norman will be driving it on roads with plenty of sweeping bends and amazing scenery which seem to have been built especially for this car . Warm weather and blue skies are optional extras.
