Club Night: Clubnight/Swapmeet Tuesday, June 8th
Guest Speaker: Watch this space
Club Car: Watch this space
Most of us have got parts in the garage that for one reason or another didn’t end up getting used for a project, or maybe a surplus tool. Bring them along tonight and display them on the swapmeet table with a price and maybe another member has a good use for it. Make space in your garage and make some cash to put towards your latest project. Likewise, grab a bargain on that elusive do-hickey you have been trying to track down.

Remember to bring some cash and if you have a grubby motor/gearbox/diff whatever to sell, please bring a suitable piece of cardboard to put it on.
There will even be floodlights for people who bring along a trailerload of stuff!

Meeting starts 7:30 in the Vintage Car Club Rooms, Jackson Street, Petone, Lower Hutt

Garage Tour Sunday August 1st
Winter is on its way and as the days shorten and temperatures drop it becomes harder and harder leave the couch, TV and warmth in order to progress the project gathering dust in a cold garage. So, in an effort to help beat the winter blues and regain some enthusiasm, it is intended to hold a garage tour.

There are several ways in which this can benefit you:
• Volunteer your own garage for inclusion - this will no doubt force you to make some progress on your project.
• Nominate a club member's garage for inclusion - this may provide an opportunity for you to spy on someone else's project for ideas (and force them to make some progress).
• Come along as a spectator - this will undoubtedly provide you with good company and inspiration

The broad plan is to visit 6-8 garages throughout the day; more garages are needed so please contact Phil Bradshaw to offer up your own or nominate someone else with a treasure trove worth visiting. More details will be provided closer to the tour.
