This is a homebuilt Lotus 7 Replica based on the design of the iconic series 3 Super 7.
I have owned and competed with this car since 1998.
The 7 is all about power to weight. At only 599kg (with a full tank of gas) this car has the same power to weight ratio as a 600hp Skyline GTR! That means 0-100kph in under 4 seconds!
This is Ferrari performance on a Corolla budget.
If you are looking for a cost effective race car that will allow you to compete and also be huge fun on the road; this is for you.
This car just doesn't look like a race car; it is a Motorsport New Zealand Schedule A compliant car suitable for use at all levels of motorsport. I have successfully competed in motorkhanas, autocrosses club racing and national race meets (including the NZ Sportscar Championship) in this car.

Power: Dyno'ed with 132HP at the wheels.

It's my daily driver with a 2 litre Ford engine, TSW alloys with very good Bridgestone tyres and a Momo steering wheel.

This is a car that stands out as unique amongst one-off cars. 1965 427-SC COBRA ROADSTER (2010)
The Factory Five Racing Mark 3 Cobra Roadster Replica (427-SC) is the most successful component kit car ever built. The Factory Five Roadster has literally taken over the replica industry. There are huge differences between replicas with respect to design, engineering and the quality of the parts. The Factory Five Racing Cobra Replica is made from proven racing materials and is the intergration of advanced computer design and state-of-art manufacturing methods.
The Cobra that is for sale here was imported from the USA in kitset form and was assembled over a 3 year period. It was certified and registered in Dec 2010 in Christchurch, NZ.
Construction
Frame: Complete Jig-welded original style 4” round tube frame. Gloss black powdercoated finish.
Body: Hand laid 3/16” laminate composite body and panels made with polyester resin. Painted with PPG paints and clear-coat. The fiberglass body is the exterior shell only and is not moulded into the floor and footboxs etc, as the cockpit, trunk and engine bay is 6061-T6 aluminum permanently mounted to the frame.
Front Suspension: Fully independent front suspension. Mustang lower control arms (LCA’s) with adjustable Koni Coil-over shocks. Fully adjustable upper A-arms.
Rear Suspension: High-end 3-link rear suspension with Ford Racing 8.8” rear solid axle/differential with posi-traction and 3.55 gears. Upper link kit, panhard bar, adjustable Koni Coil-over shocks.
Front/Rear Brakes: S/N 95 Style Spindles. Ford GT 11” front rotors with twin piston calipers. Ford 10.5” rear rotors with single piston calipers. Wilwood pedal box.
Engine: Ford Racing 351W crate engine – 250hp at 3800rpm. Currently running a 600cfm Edelbrock performer carb and HEI ignition. This is a standard crate engine.
Transmission: Tremec TKO 600 5 speed gearbox.

Matt black Manx beach Buggy, This was an older buggy which we have done a lot of work on and fitted a lot of new parts onto.
Ex Doda Coruba promo buggy, then Bikinigirls Buggy. It has a VW 1500cc single port motor with new carb and alternator and chrome dress up kit on it.
We rebuilt with alot of new parts and some good used parts, and VINed as a new buggy. Cert plate says 2008 year of build but is 2009 first registered so has yearly warrant of fitness's.
The reason it is painted in a Matt finish is due to the older body having some stress cracks in the gel from a hard life in the 80's, these could be fixed by a fibreglasser if you wanted to put a good shiny paint finish on, or you could re-body it with a complete new Manx body in a gel coat color finish. It does have a new bonnet / dash and side pods fitted

This car is one of two backdraft roasdsters imported last month - brand new from South Africa. VIN #AA9BMAAH9B1CN1034
This car is a turn key minus (no engine or transmission) model BDR RT3. Comes with power steering, side intrusion bars in the doors, driver and passenger mirrors and passenger roll bar. The engine bay is set up for small block forward 351 Windsor engine and comes with header pipes and side exhausts. With minor modifications a chev or lexus engine could be installed.
Wheels are pin drive style halibrand - 17 inch. Tyres are Goodyear F1 front 235/40, the rears are 315/35.
For NZ compliance car requires high stop tail light, seatbelts, rear reflectors and of course engine and transmission of your choice. This car can be registered after 1 Jan and would be a 2012 model.
I can supply and install an engine and transmission if you wish (price to be discussed – depending on engine spec etc.). I am currently installing 427CI small block, Ford with dart alloy block and 48mm Webbers with TKO600 transmission in the second car.

AC Cobra 427SC built by Graham Berry race cars in Upper Hutt in 1989. This car is car number 70 from Graham Berry.
Well set up, complete with soft top and tonneau cover. The usual frabricated front end and independant Jag rear, coil overs all round. Wood grain dash give this car the real sports car look for its era. Painted Guardsmen Blue one of the original colours.
Engine is a 331ci, 350hp 9.5:1 compression ratio, balanced with ported large value heads edelbrock performer intake manifold with Holley 600cfm 4 barrel carb, Crane Cam. 4 speed manual with Hurst indy shifter.

Its powered buy a strong Honda Shadow 1100 cc V twin, water cooled. shaft driven to the rear wheel. there's no reverse. Its a single seater and bobbs along quite well. The brakes are reaky good and it holds the road good, you haveto dirve it with respect in the wet, just like a motorbike. It causes a stir wherever I take it and is always popular at custom shows. VW Beach buggy we think 1962,
new paint job, new brake cylanders x3,
new flexi hoses, new roll cage, new battery, water tight compartment under the rear seat, the front lights work but there is no rear lights, the gauges inside are not conected, new bushes in rear suspension. Has got two new tyres on the front. Needs new handbrake cable to make it work. This is what I have done the previous owner had the motor rebuilt, new pistons & rings instaled an external oil pump, spin on oil filter & oil cooler. (note winch on front is not included, this will be reomoved) Has only done roughly five hours since engine overhaull. Last weekend drove from Baylys Beach to the Bluff and it ran like a dream. Far cheaper than a polarus, yamaha and Honda side by side models, and turns a lot more heads. This vehicle is not road legal. The windscreen is perspex And the large whip flag is not included. I can deliver free of charge depending where you live and time frame etc

The chassis/body is from Kiwi race cars/Alamc.
It is currently registered and warranted. To finish this car it will need a paint and upholstery.
It runs a 351 Windsor with a 650dp carburettor. This was built by engine specialties on the north shore. It has a very nice lumpy cam and produced 300.1 hp at the wheels on testing.
The gearbox is a 4 speed top loader with Hurst shifter.
The seats are leather as is the dash, gauges are auto meter.
It drives very well and is a lot of fun. It will be sadly missed but as my time now is spend on my business I don’t have the time to finish it.
It has a soft top and tonneau cover. I even have some side windows thou have yet to put this on.
I have a complete set of new tires, spare lights and other little things. Also included is a set of stone guards.
The body will need some finishing before painting
This is well below build cost and a great chance to finish your own car. Even without a paint job it still turns the heads.

For sale is a scratch built replica Lotus 7. It has previsouly had a 2 litre Toyota 3SGE engine in it. But when the last one went pop (due to low oil) it was pulled out and I haven't got around to putting a replacement in. I have a 3rd gen engine ready to go, but haven't had the time to
put into it so it has been garaged for the last few years.
The transmition (Toyota T50) was overhauled just before the engine blew so is in good condition.
There are a number of spares/parts that come with the car, including a Fraser cars winged and baffled sump, but I'm not sure if this will fit the gen3 engine. This would make an ideal project for someone to finish.
It has done a couple of track days and motorkhanas in the past, and was a super fun car to drive. It's an excellent way to get into motorsport or just to have as a summer time drive in the sun car.
The roll bar is motorsport homologated, and there is a motorsport NZ log book for the car. The 4 point harnesses it has at the moment are fine for track days but are no longer homologated. There are also mounts for standard three point belts.
The price includes a car trailer if needed. Very useful for getting the car to the track. This has also been parked up and has no WOF and the rego is on hold.

lynx kit car, toyota 2L engine, unfinished project, moved house and short of room unfortunately. was registered years ago before all this low volume vehicle stuff and all the continuous registration. so a bit of a challenge to get roadworthy. might suit for a track fun car or hillclimbs. It has been fully rewired by an auto sparky. hasnt been started for 2 years and fired up on 4th wind, ran sweet as for about half an hour. These kits were made up from Triumph herald chassis. My wife's cousin built it orginally and used to use it at the old Taupo circuit on club days.
A lot of inquiries about the rego. I have the original papers, but it comes up on car jam as never have been registered. Rego lapsed in 1990 before the current system. Sorry I had no control over that. If you want to get it on the road you have to go through the low volume vehicle certification process. Some of the work required for this is: refastening the seats. i have some of the bolts and tin to make up the required sandwich between frame and fibreglass. the front brakes have been renewed but the rear still need to be done and the hand brake adjusted. the brakes will all have to be bled and adjusted. some cosmetic work on the body ( scratches and chips in fibreglass) the wheels are to wide for the rear so either some wheel guards or smaller width tyres. The car will run but no brakes so you will need a car trailer to collect.

The Hudson Kindred Spirit is a 3 wheeled kit car. The kits were built in England. The engine (1400cc), gear box and running gear are all sourced from a Renault R5.
This is the only known example in New Zealand and there are not that many world wide. The car has only travelled 1650 km since it was built. This car is so much fun to drive, a real head turner !
A must have for any car collector that wants a unique vehicle or is excellent as a promotional car.
